Family of three

It is so fun talking to new parents, to hear their view on parenthood. I have said this before, but it is neat to see new parents and how they interact with their baby. To see how natural it is for them and how much they care for their child. This session was one of those opportunities, to meet new people, and watch them together as a family.

I love love love this location. The big trees... the green grass... so pretty! I love doing sessions in May, because it's still cool but not too cold... except the day we got together for these photos was sooo hot! Surprisingly so. But we stuck through it and got some fun photographs.

This little girl was 6 months old when we took these photos, the same age as my daughter :) I LOVE this age!

Booked!

I am now booked through the end of the year! I won't be scheduling any more sessions in 2012. If you are in need of a photographer, I know a few in the area that I can refer you to. Let me know if you need more information.

So sorry for those of you who were hoping to schedule this year! Life has been a little bit crazy now that I have a third child to take care of. I am having to cut down and simplify my life a little bit to make time for everything. Thank you for your understanding!

I'll be blogging some fun sessions here in the next week or two! Stay posted...

Scout... 3 months old

There are so many reasons why I love this session! Scout is just adorable and she sure has grown since her newborn photos. She had so many cute smiles for me...

Coming up next...

Here are some photos that I am working on right now. More of these baby girls and their families on the blog soon...

Purdue Friends

I really love living in a college town and I have for a long time now. Ever since I started going to college way back when. The one hard thing about living in a college town is having to say goodbye to friends (it happens a lot!) With everyone finishing school and graduating it seems like we are constantly saying goodbye. Some friends of ours moved, but I was lucky to see them a few weeks later when they came back for graduation. I was even more lucky to be able to take some family photos for them :)

Kyle, Kelly, Leon and Grady

Kelly and her family moved away last year, but luckily she and her husband have family here so they come back often. It's always great to see the Allen's when they come visit. A couple weeks ago I was able to take photos for them and of course we had a great time! Kelly is a photographer herself... I just love photographing other photographers and their families. We went down town and hung out in this alley, this is one of my favorite spots to take photos. I love the fun bright colors in this session.

We were lucky to find this splash of green in the city, I love this ivy! I shot in this same spot a couple years ago and the ivy has spread a lot since then. I'll have to come back for more photos...

Leon loves trains, just like most little boys his age. This was a fun spot to end the shoot, on the train tracks.

I love love love Grady's chubby little hands in this photo reaching for his dad. So sweet.
