Selene

This is why I love photography. I go in circles, but it comes down to it that newborn sessions are my favorite. I love how quiet and peaceful the session is, and how that peace reflects into the photos. I love the connection between the family and their new little one. The love for the baby is definitely present. I am grateful to be apart of capturing these memories and small moments that will be remembered forever. 

Selene is beautiful. She is tiny and precious. I love these images, they bring a smile to my face. Selene was an angel to work with, being just under two weeks old. Her mom, Nicole, and big sister came along for the session. I can tell they just love Selene to pieces. I loved watching them all interact. 

Thank you Nicole, for letting me be apart of this time in Selene's life. I just adore her!

This was my last Mini Session... again, I am so grateful that it didn't rain! Later the same night a storm blew through and it was pretty bad... I am so glad we got these pictures taken before the storm! Tammi and Joseph have the sweetest kids. Sam even asked me to hold him... adorable :)

Alex, Heidi and Charlotte

Here is my third Mini Session from this month (one more coming soon). It is so nice to be posting these photos! We had to reschedule this session a *few* times and so I was really happy when we actually had a nice (some what cool), sunny day to enjoy when we arrived for the shoot. I love how the photos turned out! Alex and Heidi were so laid back and up for anything. Charlotte was so happy and she gave me so many darling smiles. Heidi is also a photographer (check out her work!) and so I was thrilled when she asked me to take her family photos. It is always fun taking pictures for another photographer.

The day I did these Mini Sessions it was supposed to rain... luckily it didn't. I was stressing and hoping for a break in the rain just in time for the pictures. Well it was even better than that, nice and sunny! It was a great day for photos and I was so grateful for that! This family was so sweet and I am glad I was able to meet them. We had a great time taking photos and getting to know each other...

I had another opportunity to photograph this great family... here are their pictures from last year. This year they have a new baby boy, who is absolutely adorable. Their kids were awesome! They had so much fun playing together and at the end they even got to play in the fountain. We had a lot of great smiles and fun moments in this session!

Josh, Emily, Helena, Kaia, and Elijah

You might recognize this family from my header... or from their photos last year. I absolutely love how these turned out! Very different from last year, an urban look rather than the country style we did before. It was fun to catch up with them and to hang out down town. The kids were troopers walking around in the hot weather....
