Beck

 My good friend, Ann, moved away just a couple days after I took these photos of two week old Beck. He is tiny and so very sweet. Ann made him this cute "suit" and I just love it! He was as calm as ever and so easy to photograph. Congratulations Ann!

Scout

Leslie and Kyle's baby girl is here! I have been very excited to post these photos, baby Scout is just so sweet. It is always such a neat experience to see new parents with their baby. I also get so excited when the parents want to be in the photos with their little one. These moments don't last long enough. What a fun way to remember baby's first few weeks.

Selene

This is why I love photography. I go in circles, but it comes down to it that newborn sessions are my favorite. I love how quiet and peaceful the session is, and how that peace reflects into the photos. I love the connection between the family and their new little one. The love for the baby is definitely present. I am grateful to be apart of capturing these memories and small moments that will be remembered forever. 

Selene is beautiful. She is tiny and precious. I love these images, they bring a smile to my face. Selene was an angel to work with, being just under two weeks old. Her mom, Nicole, and big sister came along for the session. I can tell they just love Selene to pieces. I loved watching them all interact. 

Thank you Nicole, for letting me be apart of this time in Selene's life. I just adore her!

Jude

Is it just me or are there so many newborn boys lately? I love it! This is my third session with a baby boy this month, and it has been so much fun. I love the variety from each session, I have enjoyed every second! Jude was so fun to work with, I got so many yawns out of him while he was trying to fall asleep.... so so cute.

I am so glad that I was able to get to know Carrie, she and I had a good time talking during this session. I love meeting other moms and seeing the connection between them and their little ones. I was so happy that Carrie was willing to be in so many of the pictures. I absolutely adore baby and mommy photos. 

The first photo was one of the last that I chose and edited... but it is now my favorite....

Big yawn for a little guy!

Perfect. I just loved this session. So many wonderful photos... Thank you Carrie! I wish you the best with your new little baby boy!

Baby Reid

My friend Holly had her baby! He was 3 weeks old in these photos and now he is almost 1 month old. I was so happy to take his pictures... this little guy is so very cute! His strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes are just adorable. I was so happy when baby Reid's family decided to be in the pictures too...

The light in these pictures was perfect. The picture below with Reid and his dad is my favorite...

The picture below showing all his hair is another favorite... I love that hair (probably because my babies were bald :)

Big sister is so proud of her baby brother... and they look a lot alike too. 

This was such a fun session... thanks Holly! I just love taking photos of newborns.

Baby Boy

A good friend of mine had her baby back in March and I have been itching to take his pictures! This little guy is such a wonderful baby! He was so calm and content though our photo session... even when he was awake. It was so fun being able to get some pictures of him awake, he held so still for me and was so happy. He is getting closer to being about 2 months old, so he was very alert. I had a good time! I love being with little babies... ummm, but who doesn't?

I love the different expressions that babies have when they are awake. It was fun getting a variety of pictures.

Then he fell asleep and was absolutely perfect. I love it when I can get a lot of sleeping photos... they are my favorite!

And he slept and slept some more! What a perfect baby :)

Last Week...

...was a whirlwind of photos. I had so much fun doing two baby sessions and one family session. I typically don't do three sessions in a week, but I am so glad that I was able to do all three of these sessions! Here is a preview of the photos that I will be posting later this week...
